Consumers complain that they have been victims of fraud
The Consumer Protection Service informs that in recent days it has received complaints from consumers about the website Kymberly's_fashion which is mainly active on social media and on the website https:/sneakaddict.wixsite.com/website (under the name ALL LUXURY FOR HER). In particular, consumers complain that they placed orders for products, paid the relevant price but the products they received did not meet the characteristics of those advertised. Furthermore, all their efforts to contact the online business were unsuccessful.
In view of the above, the Consumer Protection Service urges consumers to be particularly careful and avoid transactions with this website or pages with the same name on social media.
On this occasion, the Service reminds consumers that, in accordance with the law, a business trading on the internet must provide them with easy, immediate and continuous access to basic information, such as, inter alia:
- its name,
- its geographical address,
- its e-mail address and telephone number,
- its VAT registration number,
- its registration number.
Finally, the Service advises consumers that under no circumstances should they make purchases from traders whose only information they provide is a mobile phone number or an e-mail address.
