The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry informs stakeholders that it is holding a consultation on the new "Grant Scheme to encourage the use of Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Saving in residential buildings 2024-2025", which will be implemented by the RES and EE Fund.E.
The proposed Grant Scheme provides for a grant for the installation of a photovoltaic system and/or roof insulation in existing dwellings.
In summary, the Plan provides for the following categories.500 (4kW) - 50% increase for mountainous areas, [*]Category A2: PHOTOBOELECTRIC - BEAUTIFUL NORTHERN CITIES with a sponsorship of €1.250 per kW and a maximum grant of €6.250 (5kW), [*]Category A3: PHOTOBOLTAICS FOR ALL with a grant of €250 per kW and a maximum grant of €1.000 (4kW) and an additional investment repayment of €1.250 (5kW), [*]Category A3: PHOTOBOLTAICS FOR ALL with a grant of €250 per kW and a maximum grant of €1.000 (4kW) and an additional investment repayment of €1.000 per kW with a maximum "repayment amount": €4,000 (4kW), [*]Category B1: ROOF HEATING - GENERAL CATEGORY with a 50% grant and a maximum grant amount of €2,500 and/or €25.00 per m2. - 50% increase for mountainous areas, [*]Category B2: ROOF HEATING - HAPPY HOUSING with a 75% grant and a maximum grant of €3,750 or €37.50 per square metre, [*]Category B2: ROOF HEATING - HAPPY HOUSING with a 75% grant and a maximum grant of €3,750 or €37.50 per square metre. Compared to the corresponding Sponsorship Plan that was implemented in 2022-2023, the following changes have been made in the proposed Sponsorship Plan. [*]Creation of a special category of roof insulation for vulnerable households, with increased sponsorship. [*]Modification of the implementation and application procedure. [*]Reduction of paperwork for applicants, with a significant reduction in the documentation and information they must submit. Notification of investment implementation will be sent by the installers. [*]The installations will have to be carried out by traders registered in the list of 'PARTICIPATING TRADERS'. This will facilitate the applicants in the implementation of the investment. [*]All potential beneficiaries will receive an APPROVAL prior to the implementation of the investment, a procedure which ensures for the applicant the possibility of receiving a grant, a significant acceleration of the time of payment of the grant and for the promoter a greater possibility of control.
