The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, in cooperation with the Limassol Municipality, announce that the construction works of a built central island and elevated pedestrian crossing on 1 April Street, in the section from its junction with Thespion Street to its junction with Evagoras Lanitis Avenue, which were scheduled for Wednesday 15/12/2021 and Thursday 16/12/2021, will be carried out on Wednesday 22/12/2021 and Thursday 23/12/2021, from 21:00 in the evening until 06:00 in the morning of the following day.
During the works, the above section of 1 April Street will be closed and traffic to and from Agia Fyla will be routed through Thespia, Domnitsas Lanitou Kavounidou and Evagora Lanitis Avenue.
The Department of Public Works and the Limassol Municipality apologize for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invite the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road markings.
