On 26 April 2006, the Council of Europe established 28 January as Data Protection Day. On the occasion of Data Protection Day, the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner has planned a variety of actions.
A targeted action for this year is the training of Data Protection Officers from both the public and private sectors, which will start at the end of February.
In the same context, the drawing competition on "Data Protection in the School Unit", held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, was successfully completed. The first prize in the competition for the high school cycle is this year's anniversary poster of the Office for the International Data Protection Day. The results of the Competition (prizes and commendations) are posted on the relevant website.
