As part of a series of meetings held by the Commissioner for Rural Payments, Mr Andreas Kyprianou, a meeting was held yesterday with the Minister of Interior, Mr Constantinos Ioannou, at the offices of the Ministry. The Commissioner was accompanied by the Assistant Commissioner and other officials of the Agency.
The meeting, which was also attended by representatives of the Department of Cadastre and Land Surveying and the Turkish Cypriot Property Management Service, discussed, inter alia, the implementation of the relevant decisions of the Council of Ministers on permits for the use of state and Turkish Cypriot land for agricultural purposes and how these decisions affect the payment of subsidies to farmers by the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (CAPO).
The cooperation between the CMO and the Ministry of Interior is a given and effective, since the joint action and cooperation between the two services bring about the best possible results for our farming community.
