In view of the start of the implementation of the Local Government Reform from 1 July 2024 and the operation of the Provincial Self-Government Organizations (POAs), the powers under the Roads and Buildings Regulation Law are transferred to the District Local Authorities of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta.
In order to ensure the smooth transfer of powers, the Nicosia District Administration announces the following, 14 February 2024, at 3:30 p.m., the receipt of building applications from the Building Department was terminated. [*]On Friday, 14 June 2024, at 3 p.m., the possibility of submitting building applications online via the 'IΠPOΔAMOS' system was also terminated. [*]On Friday, 14 June 2024, at 3 p.m., the possibility of submitting building applications online via the 'IΠPOΔAMOS' system was also terminated. [*]The operation of the "IPPODAMOS" system is suspended until Sunday, 30 June 2024, for the purpose of migrating from the old registration system, building applications to the "IPPODAMOS" system, in the five Provincial Self-Government Organizations, and for the processing of all checks required for the proper operation of the system from 1 July 2024. [*]From Wednesday, June 19, 2024, until Friday, June 28, 2024, the Building Division of the Nicosia District Administration will be closed to the public, in order to promote and complete the actions required for the preparation of the operation of the new Organizations from July 1, 2024.
