The Department of Postal Services (DPS), Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works is seeking expressions of interest from individuals or companies with suitable premises in Nicosia within the municipal boundaries of the Municipality of Lakatameia, between and around the confluence of Arch. Makarios III, Iphigenia, Patriarch Gregory V, Alamana, Agios Georgios Avenue, Demetrios Hamatsos, Prophet Elias, Arch. Makarios C', Pefkos, Yannou Kranidiotis Avenue, Melina Mercouri, Agios Dimitrianos, Pantelis Katelaris, for the relocation of the Post Office of Lakatameia.
2. The building to be rented should meet the following requirements.
(b) Have covered parking for 12 motorcycles and one service vehicle.
(c) Have parking for staff (5 persons) and customers.

(d) Have adequate electromechanical facilities.
(e) Have at least two toilets, washbasins and a continuous water supply.
(f) Have an air conditioning system or units with inverter or similar technology, cold and hot air to adequately cover the space and economical lighting lamps.
(g) Have a trolley loading/unloading "ramp" configuration.
(h) Have access and spaces for Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

The Owner must secure all permits and certificates required according to the relevant legislation, namely the planning permit, the building permit and the Certificate of Approval, as well as have all necessary additional certificates or permits requested (topographical plan, title deed, energy efficiency certificate, etc.).

4. The Owner of the selected premises will be asked to sign a five-year lease, with the right of renewal by the TSO for two plus two years.
5. At the end of the first three years of the rental period, the amount of rent may be increased every two years, after negotiation between the Tenant and the Landlord and with the approval of the Ministry of Finance.
6. Proposals for Expressions of Interest should be submitted in a sealed envelope to An. The Expressions of Interest must be submitted in a closed envelope and must be addressed to the Director of the Department of Postal Services. On the top left corner of the envelope should be marked "EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR RENTAL OF PROPERTY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LAKATAMIA POST OFFICE IN LEFKOSIA", and should be delivered to 100 Prodromou Street, 2063 Strovolos, 1st floor, Office 32, by 15 January 2024 at 14:30.
