The Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment invites expressions of interest from legal or natural persons for the purpose of renting a building to cover the immediate housing needs of the Nicosia District Agricultural Office.
The last deadline for submitting expressions of interest is Friday, 2 August 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The Declaration of Interest must be submitted to the tender box of the Department at 1412 Louki Akrita Avenue, Nicosia.
In case of a lease, it may be for a period of five (5) years with the right of extension by the Lessee (Department of Agriculture) for another two (2) periods of two (2) years each.
The building shall be ready for delivery no later than the end of December 2024 or on a schedule to be agreed upon between the parties. It is noted that the space required to house the Nicosia District Agricultural Office shall have an area for office space and storage of at least 650 m2 with a deviation of ± 3%, as indicated in the architectural drawings.
The total number of employees to be accommodated in the building under consideration is approximately 23.
Parking spaces should amount to 30 for the needs of staff and public and, if possible, should be located in the proposed building. Preference will be given to buildings that have a significant number of covered parking spaces.
Requirements for the general characteristics of the building, including the area of interest, a table calculating the required floor area of office and other spaces, required documents, procedures to be followed, and other details are posted on the Department of Agriculture's website under the Announcements section or at the link here.
