The Ministry of Interior informs that key information on the recently announced plans and measures under the new single housing policy has been posted on its website. Information on the Plans/measures is available in the New Housing Policy section
It should be noted that more detailed Guides and launch dates for each Plan/measure will follow in the near future.
It is recalled that the new housing policy announced by the Government has a social character and aims to mitigate the housing problem through the implementation of short and medium term Plans and measures, with a five-year implementation horizon. The unified housing policy focuses on two central axes: firstly, the utilisation of the existing dormant housing stock and the production of new housing stock and, secondly, its availability on the market at an affordable price, thus offering choices to all citizens, irrespective of their socio-economic circumstances.
