[PIO] Applications for the Cyprus Export Award 2023

The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) announce that applications for the Cyprus Export Award 2023 can be submitted from Thursday 28 March 2024. The last date for submission of applications is 31 May 2024.

Exporters of Industrial and Agricultural Products and Services may apply, provided they meet the relevant criteria. Interested parties can obtain the regulations and criteria of the Cyprus Export Award, as well as application forms, from the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (Constantinos Anastasiou, tel: 22867192, tel: canastasiou@meci.gov.cy, Vassilis Sergiou tel: 22867268 tel: vsergiou@meci.gov.cy), the website of the Trade Service and the Services and Digitisation Department of the KEBE (tel.: 22889890, fax: 22667593, tel.: s.christodoulou@ccci.org.cy).

The maximum number of prizes to be awarded will be:

  1. Two for industrial products, each prize in different sectors wherever possible, at the absolute discretion of the Committee.
  2. One for agricultural products.
  3. One Special Award for industrial products.
  4. Five for services, relating to the sectors listed below:
  1. One Award for enterprises in the Financial Services sector.
  2. One Award for enterprises in the sector of Maritime Transport and Merchant Shipping.
  3. One Award for enterprises in the Tourism Services sector,
  4. One Award for enterprises in the Telecommunications, Information and Communication sector,
  5. One General Service Award for enterprises in other sectors (e.g. Universities, Health, etc.).)

The Cyprus Export Award, co-organized by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry and KEBE, was launched in 1982 to recognize and reward outstanding efforts to increase exports of Cypriot industrial and agricultural products and services. In the 42 years of the institution's operation, several companies from the entire spectrum of the export trade have been awarded and have benefited greatly by making use of the Award for promotional purposes, particularly abroad.
