1. Pavement maintenance works at the light-controlled junction of Franklin Roosevelt Avenue and Republic Street, in Limassol
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works and the Limassol Municipality, announce that on Sunday 13/02/2022 between 05:00 in the morning and 18:00 in the afternoon, maintenance works will be carried out on the road surface of the light-controlled junction of Franklin Roosevelt Avenue and Republic Street.
During the works, the following arrangements will apply. [*]Republic Street from its junction with Misiaouli and Kavazoglou Streets to its junction with Franklin Roosevelt Avenue will be closed and traffic to and from Republic Street will use the secondary road network. [/LIST]
The Department of Public Works and the Limassol Municipality apologize for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused, and invite the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
2.Excavation and cable laying works on a section of the Zakaki-Trachoni road in Limassol
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works and A.H.K. announce that on Saturday 12/02/2022 and Sunday 13/02/2022 from 06:30 to 17:30, excavation and laying of 132 KV cables will be carried out on a section of the Zakkaki - Trachoni road near its junction with Nea Genia Street.
During the works, one lane of traffic will be closed for a length of approximately 120 m. and traffic will be managed with temporary traffic lights. Also part of New Generation Road will be closed to traffic.
3. Forestry works on sections of the A6 Limassol - Paphos Motorway
The Paphos District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that, from Monday 14 February 2022 until Friday 25 March 2022 from 08:30 to 15:00, on sections of the A6 Limassol - Paphos Motorway in both directions, at a road length of 1.5 - 2 km/day, forestry works will be carried out by the Forestry Department on the central dividing island for a total length of approximately 18 km.
During the execution of the works, the express lanes will be closed in both directions and traffic will be directed to the slow lane.K apologize for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urge the public to show the necessary understanding and patience with the temporary road markings and police instructions.
