1. Works for the construction of an apartment building at Themistocles Dervi Street, Nicosia
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office for Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Wednesday 2/2/2022, Thursday 3/2/2022 and Saturday 5/2/2022, between the hours of 06:00 - 15:00,on Themistocles Dervi Street in Nicosia, will be carried out works for the construction of an apartment building.
During the execution of the works, the two lanes of Themistoklis Dervi Street in the direction from the Gavriilides traffic lights to Nicosia, between Nicocreontos and Tefkros lanes, will be closed and traffic will be directed to one lane in the opposite direction.
2. Works to reinforce the existing rectangular storm drain on Digenis Akritas Avenue, Nicosia
The Office of the District Engineer, Nicosia Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that, due to the weather conditions prevailing in January, the reinforcement works of the existing rectangular storm drain on Digenis Akritas Avenue have been extended until Sunday 20 February 2022. For this reason, Digeni Akrita Avenue will remain closed from its junction with Androcles Street until its junction with Nicodemus Mylonas Street.
Drivers are requested to continue using the detour via Androcles - Pindarou and Eugenia Theodotou Streets in the direction of Pallouriotissa. For direction towards Lycabettus Police, drivers are requested to continue using Nicodemus Mylonas Street and Kallipoleos Street.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
