1. Works in Nicosia District
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Works, Nicosia District Engineer's Office announces that during the period 21/3/2024 - 31/5/2024, within the framework of the project "Road within Cheriou", the eighth phase of works will be implemented, during which a section of Theodosi Pierides Street, from its junction with K. During the execution of the works of the above phase, traffic from Nicosia to Analyonta will be routed through Arch. Kyprianou, Thermopylae, Pentadaktylou, B. Michaelides, Salaminos, A. Zakou, Omonia, M. Karoli and Th. Pierides. Drivers heading towards Nicosia are advised to use M. Karooli, Omonia, A. Zakou, Salaminos, Pentadactylou, K. Varnalis and Kuriou roads.
For the above traffic regulation there will be appropriate temporary markings, which drivers are advised to follow.
2. Closed section of the Limassol - Paphos motorway
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Public Works Department announces that in the context of the construction of the new road network in the area of the New Limassol Stadium, the left lane of the Limassol - Paphos motorway towards Limassol after the junction with the road from Erimi (road E605) will be closed for the period 26/3/2024 - 6/4/2024.
3. Works on manholes in Larnaca District
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Works, Larnaca District Engineer's Office announces that on Saturday 22/3/2024 and Sunday 23/3/2024, between 06:30 - 09:30, on Griva Digenis, General Timaya and Giannou Kranidiotis avenues in Larnaca, works on manholes will be carried out by a private telecommunications company.
During the execution of the works, part of one lane of the roads will be gradually closed over manholes and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road markings and police instructions.
