1. Triathlon race in Larnaca District
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Sunday, 2/6/2024, between the hours of 06:30 - 12:00, a triathlon race will be held on the Pervolion - Mazotos bypass road in Larnaca.
During the races, the section of the road Mazotos - Pervolia (Thessaloniki Avenue), from the beach "Petutas" in Mazotos and for a length of about 7 km towards Pervolia, from both directions will be closed and traffic will be directed through adjacent roads.
2. Horizontal road marking works in Nicosia District
The Nicosia District Public Works Engineer's Office, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Sunday, 2/6/2024, until Wednesday, 5/6/2024, between the hours of 21:00 in the evening to 05:00 in the morning of the following day, horizontal road marking works will be carried out from the GSP roundabout to the Good Evening lights.
During the works, one lane will be closed locally, for a distance of approximately 100 metres, and traffic will be diverted to the other lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
