The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that , during the period from 3 to 12 October 2023, daily except Sunday, between the hours of 06:00 - 18:00, on the old Nicosia - Limassol road, water supply pipelines will be laid by the Water Development Department.
During the above period, part of the old road will be closed in sections, from its junction with the Kornos - Delikipos road, in the direction of Limassol, for a length of approximately 100 metres at a time and a total length of 200 metres, and traffic will be handled with the use of traffic and police lights.
2. Periodic road maintenance works on sections of the Nicosia - Larnaca motorway
The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 October 2023, from 20:00 until 05:30 the following day, periodic road maintenance works will be carried out on sections of the Nicosia - Larnaca motorway towards Larnaca, from the Rizoelia roundabout to the first light-controlled junction in Aradippou.
During the execution of the works on the above section, both lanes will be completely closed in the direction from the Rizoelia roundabout to Larnaca and traffic will be diverted to adjacent roads with the use of appropriate signage.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
