1. Green maintenance works on the central island of a section of Archangelos Michael Avenue in Strovolos
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Monday 15/04/2024 until Thursday 25/04/2024, excluding Fridays and weekends, between 09:00-13:00, maintenance work will be carried out on the green area of the central island on a section of Archangelos Michael Avenue in Strovolos, 700 m long.
During the works, the Department of Forests will partially close the adjacent traffic lane of the central island, for a length of approximately 200 m at a time, and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent traffic lane.

2. The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Tuesday 09/04/2024 until Tuesday 23/04/2024, between 08:30-16:00, except Saturdays and Sundays, rainwater drainage works will be carried out on the Astromeritis-Troodos road, from the confluence of the traffic lights in Astromeritis and for a distance of 1000 m.
During the works, one lane of the road will remain closed for approximately 150 m, and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane with temporary traffic lights.
3. Maintenance works on the old Nicosia-Lemesos road
The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Department of Public Works, announces that during the period 09/04/2024-18/04/2024, daily except weekends, between the hours of 8:30-15:00, road maintenance works will be carried out on the old Nicosia-Lemesos road, by the Larnaca Water Development Department.
During the above period, part of one lane of the road, from the centre of Kofinou to Choirokoitia, will be closed in succession, with a maximum length of 50 m at a time.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
