[PIO] Announcement of the Ministry of Defence regarding the selection process of the 2024 ESSO recruits in Branches, Weapons-Bodies and Units of the

The Ministry of Defence announces that on 3 July 2024 the Minister of Defence, Mr.Vassilis Palmas, will attend the selection process of the 2024 ESSO recruits in Branches, Arms-Bodies and Units of the National Guard.

The selection will be carried out through a certified software program, which contains the data submitted electronically by the recruits on the platform of the Ministry of Defence.

The use of the software program ensures the integrity of the process in an absolute manner. The National Guardsmen's placement selection is based on measurable criteria set out in the enlisted men's rating table and their declaration of preferences.

It is noted that at the end of the selection process the results of the selection process will be kept by the Selection Committee, without being made public or accessible to anyone, and will be communicated to each enlisted man on the day of his enlistment.
