[PIO] Announcement of the Ministry of Defence regarding the planned meeting of the Director of Equipment Capabilities and Planning of the European

In the framework of the Coordinated Annual Defence Review conducted by the European Defence Agency (EDA) every two years, the Director of Capabilities, Equipment and Planning of the EDA, Mr. Stefano Cont, accompanied by Agency staff, paid a two-day visit to Cyprus on 19-20 February 2024.

Mr. Cont and the EEA delegation met with the Director of the Directorate of General Procurement and Defence Capabilities Development of the Ministry of Defence, Dr. Panayiotis Hadjipavlis, and officials of the Directorate, where they discussed issues related to the cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the EEA.

During the meeting they had the opportunity to exchange views on ongoing and future programmes that will assist both the European Union (EU) and Member States in promoting opportunities for multinational cooperation in defence capability development, research and technology, as well as in supporting the defence industry and operational aspects of the EU.
