Further to a previous announcement of the Authority, we recall that all provisions of the Law came into force on 1 March 2024, when all obligations of both officers and lobbyists were implemented simultaneously.

The Authority has begun to receive communication forms from Officers (L10) as part of the implementation of the Act, starting with the Chief Tax Officer, and it appears that Officers are aware of their obligations under the Act.

It is clarified that failure to complete and submit this form to the Authority is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or a fine not exceeding €5,000 and/or both.

Finally, it is noted that the Authority will proceed with the cross-checking of these forms by Officers in conjunction with the semi-annual reports of registered persons (lobbyists), which will be submitted for the first time in the first half of September 2024.
