On Thursday, May 9, 2024, the official celebration of the Great Martyr Saint George, Patron Saint of the Land Army, took place.
The celebration was attended by the Minister of Defence Mr. Vassilis Palmas, the Chief of the National Guard (NF) Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas, Members of Parliament, the General Staff of the National Guard (GNEF), as well as delegations of officers. Also in attendance were representatives of state agencies and local authorities, retired officers, defence attachés and representatives of friendly countries.
As part of the ceremony, a static exhibition was organized, in which weapon systems of the Land Army of the NF were presented.
