1. Works on the connecting roads of the roundabouts of the Limassol bypass road, from the Yermasogeia exit to the uphill junction of the New Limassol Hospital
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Friday, 19/07/2024, and Saturday, 20/07/2024, from 8:30 to 16:00, sweeping works will be carried out on the connecting roads of the roundabouts of the Limassol Bypass Road, from the Yermasogeia exit to the uphill junction of the New Limassol Hospital.
During the execution of the works, one lane in one direction only will be closed in sections, over a length of approximately 200m, at any given time, and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
2. Works on the Limassol Bypass Road, from the Ayia Fyla roundabout to the Troodos roundabout
The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Monday, 22/07/2024, until Thursday, 25/07/2024, between the hours of 22:00 to 5:00 in the morning of the next day, horizontal marking works with thermoplastic paint will be carried out on the Limassol Bypass Road, from the Agia Fyla roundabout to the Troodos roundabout, in both directions.
During the execution of the works, one lane will be closed in sections, approximately 300-500m at a time, and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
3. Works in Paphos District
The Paphos District Public Works Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Friday, 19/07/2024, and for a period of approximately six (6) months, works will be carried out on the construction of a roundabout on Akamantos Street, near the Church of Panagia Zalakiotissa, in Pegeia,
During the execution of the works, traffic, to and from Pegeia, will be routed through Raherou, Sarakkos and Koliakas streets, according to the on-site road markings. Only residents will be allowed to enter the intermediate work area.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused, and urges the public to show due understanding and comply with the temporary road markings and the instructions of the Police.
