[PIO] Announcement of the Department of Public Works for works in Larnaca District

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Thursday 16/5/2024 and Friday 17/5/2024, between 08:00 - 15:00, local repairs of the asphalt pavement will be carried out on sections of Archbishop Makarios III Avenue in Larnaca, from the harbour roundabout to the light-controlled junction with Grigoris Afxentiou Street.

During the execution of the works, one lane of Archbishop Makarios Avenue C will be partially closed and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane using STOP & GO signs.

2. Asphalt repair works on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Wednesday 15/5/2024, between 08:00 - 15:00, local repairs of the asphalt pavement will be carried out on sections of Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue in Larnaca, from the port roundabout to the light-controlled junction with General Timaya Street.

During the execution of the works, Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue will be closed in sections and traffic will be diverted to adjacent roads with the use of appropriate signage.

3. The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that on Tuesday 14/5/2024, between the hours of 08:00 - 15:00, local repairs of the asphalt road surface at the Zygios roundabout

The Larnaca District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that local repairs of the asphalt road surface at the Zygios roundabout will be carried out.

During the execution of the works, the Zygi roundabout will be closed in sections and traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane using STOP & GO signs.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and compliance with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
