The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, announces that from Monday 11/3/2024 until Wednesday 13/3/2024, between the hours of 20:30 in the evening and 05:
(a) On Monday 11/3/2024, on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, the southbound lanes will be closed (direction from the junction with Makarios Avenue to the light-controlled junction with Makarios Avenue). Grivas Digenis and Themistocles Dervi Street) from the height of Vlhonos Street. The traffic traffic in the direction of Ave. Kyriakou Matsis will be routed through Vlonos - Michalakopoulou - G. On Tuesday 12/3/2024 the northbound lanes of Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue will be closed (direction from Gavriilides lights to the junction with Makarios Avenue).
(b) On Tuesday 12/3/2024 the northbound lanes of Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue will be closed (direction from Gavriilides lights to the junction with Makarios Avenue). The traffic traffic in the direction of Spyridon Avenue will be blocked. Digeni Akrita will be routed through the streets Th. Dervi - Omirou - Stasinos - Bouboulinas - Stasandrou - Androcles and will end at Digeni Akrita.
(c) On Wednesday 13/3/2024, two lanes will be closed on Demosthenes Severis Avenue in the direction of the city centre from the height of the traffic lights of the Presidential Palace to the junction with Grivas Digeni Avenue.

Traffic in the direction of the city centre will be routed via Agioi Omologitoni - Red Cross - Prodromos - Grivas Digenis Avenue.
The Department of Public Works apologises for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
