[PIO] Announcement of the Department of Agriculture regarding the submission of wine and flour production declaration

The Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment informs producers of wine and wine products that, in order to comply with Article 31 of Regulation (EC) 2018/273, they must submit a "Wine and Flour Production Declaration" electronically by 15 January 2024 at the latest, through the government portal gov.cy.

It is clarified that quantities must be declared in hectolitres.

To enter the government portal gov.cy requires the prior identification of their data through the Citizen Service Centres or through their e-banking. In case of any problems or for further clarifications, interested parties may contact the Vine-growing - Oenology Branch of the Department of Agriculture at 25877490 and 25877143.

Finally, it should be noted that failure to submit the abovementioned declaration on time or submission of incomplete or inaccurate information constitutes an infringement of the legislation and will result in penalties.
