At the Cyprus Standards Organisation (CYS) our priority at national level is the promotion of European, International and National standards in all sectors of Cypriot economic activity. We achieve this objective through our various activities, mainly through the organisation of information and training programmes. Every year, we offer information, information and training services to the general public, offering knowledge on new developments in the field of European and International Standardisation.
For the first semester of 2024, CYS is organising training seminars through the Multi-Business Programmes Plan - Customary of the Human Resources Development Authority (HRD) covering a wide range of activities in the Cypriot economy. True to our goal, we continue to respond to the training needs in all sectors of the economy, which arise due to technological, organisational, economic and other changes. In order to reap the benefits of standards, CYS places particular emphasis on education and training on standards and quality and seeks to promote lifelong learning to develop the skills and knowledge of the public. The CYS Training Centre, with many years of experience in providing training programmes, aims at professional education and training for sustainable competitiveness, providing quality learning opportunities for both experts involved in the national standardisation system and the general public.
In support of this, CYS, has a Vocational Training Centre (VTC) and an Approved Structure (AP) approved by the ANA, as well as a certified Centre for its procedures under the International Standards CYS EN ISO 9001 and CYS EN IS On request, in-house practical programmes are offered to companies/organisations wishing to enrich the knowledge and skills of their human resources regarding standards and quality.
