The Human Resources Development Authority (HRD) applies an integrated planning and reporting process for its activities. In this context, the Strategic Plan for the three-year period 2024-2026 has been prepared, which presents the objectives of the HRD, linked to the Budget on an activity basis. The strategic planning process involves the identification of the mission, vision, values and strategic objectives of the Agency through the analysis of the external and internal environment.
The strategic objectives of ANAD for the three-year period 2024-2026 are the following:
- Upgrading the country's human resources through continuous and lifelong learning of the employed, unemployed and inactive, with a focus on young people, older and low-skilled people and the long-term unemployed.
- Improving productivity, enhancing competitiveness and developing the resilience of Cypriot enterprises by improving their adaptability and making better use of their human resources.
- Strengthening the quality and efficiency assurance of the training and human resources development system through the evaluation and certification of the training provided, the strengthening of monitoring systems and procedures, as well as the knowledge, skills, attitudes and professional qualifications of the local human resources.
