In view of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to allow entry from 15 December to persons who have received one dose of the vaccine with an additional negative PCR or Rapid test in the following places: indoor and outdoor stadiums, theatres, cinemas, theatres, theatres, music and dance halls, entertainment centres, catering facilities and social events (weddings, baptisms), the Ministry of Health informs that from 15 to 17 December, these persons will be checked by showing their vaccination card, in paper or digital form (without the requirement to scan the vaccination certificate) and by scanning the European Digital Certificate for the PCR or Rapid test.
Automated testing of the above individuals and those for whom seven months have elapsed since the completion of their vaccination schedule and who have not received a booster dose of vaccine will be implemented from 18 December with the introduction of an additional colour indicator (purple colour).
Citizens who have completed their vaccination schedule or received the booster dose of the vaccine, or have fallen ill, it is clarified that the check will be done normally through the CovScan Cyprus application.
