The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, following consultation, was informed today by the managing company DP World Limassol at Limassol Port, of its decision to extend the implementation of its new charging policy until 28 February 2022, thus giving the Ministry the necessary time to present a comprehensive proposal to mitigate the issue.
The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Yiannis Karousos welcomes the decision taken by the companies with a sense of responsibility and assures that within the next few weeks, in consultation with the Ministry of Finance and the Attorney General's Office, he will be in a position to present a proposal that will resolve the issue for the benefit of both consumers and the companies themselves.
