Cyprus is one of the biggest winners according to the Startup Blink Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2024, where it achieved the biggest jump in the top 60 this year. Our country was ranked 45th, moving up nine places, and this is the first time it has appeared in the top 50 countries worldwide.
Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca and Paphos are included in the top 1.000 top cities around the world, with significant improvements in their ranking.
Mr. Eli David Rokah, CEO of Startup Blink, congratulated Cyprus for its innovative policies, which provide significant incentives for the rapid growth of the startup ecosystem.
According to the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Dr. Nicodemus Damianou, "This is a remarkable achievement for our country's dynamic startup ecosystem, which reinforces the effort to promote Cyprus as a regional centre of innovation and technology. We are determined to continue to actively support the innovative entrepreneurship that thrives in Cyprus."
