[PIO] Announcement by the Limassol - Amathus Drainage Board (LAD) regarding the accumulation of water at the intersection of Agia Fylaxis and Spyros

In relation to the accumulation of water at the intersection of Spyros Kyprianou Avenue and Agia Filaxios Street that occurred after today's rains, SALA clarifies that these roads are part of the primary road network which falls under the responsibility of the Department of Public Works (DPD). The TPA also has responsibility for the stormwater network on these roads.

SALA has already made specific recommendations to the Department of Public Works to improve the situation.

SALA and the Department of Public Works are working together to find a definitive solution to this isolated incident.
