The Deputy Ministry of Culture announces that the evaluation process of the proposals for the Thymeli Project, regarding the funding of professional theatrical productions that will take place during the first half of 2024, has been completed.
The aim was to select for financial support repertoires that innovate, renew and enrich theatrical productions with new proposals of interpretation and means of expression.
It is reported that a total of 36 applications from 19 theatrical institutions were submitted for the Thymeli Project. 31 applications from 18 theatre companies were selected.
The proposals were evaluated, on the basis of merit-based and transparent procedures, by a five-member Application Evaluation Committee (E.A.A.), appointed for this purpose by the Deputy Minister of Culture.
The Deputy Ministry welcomes the large number of theatre companies participating. At the same time, it congratulates those selected and, above all, those who secured high scores on the basis of artistic and qualitative criteria, demonstrating the high and qualitative level of proposals for theatrical productions.

The Ministry of State for Culture informs that the preparatory work for the announcement of the THYMELI Plan for professional theatrical productions to be staged in the second semester of 2024 begins immediately. It is noted that the Ministry of State, listening to the stakeholders, will make further amendments before the announcement.
