In two events, the first one will take place on Saturday 20 January at the "Larnaca Multisite of Creativity and Culture" and the second one will take place on Saturday 27 January at the "State Gallery of Contemporary Art - Majestic", the publication "Nitsa Hadjigeorgiou: When Our Eyes Are Touched", written and curated by Evagoras Vanezis.
The publication of the Ministry of Culture was implemented in the context of the retrospective exhibition of the artist Nitssa Hadjigeorgiou at the "Municipal Gallery of Larnaca" (21/01- 02/04/2022), which was co-organized by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Larnaca.
The publication of the Ministry of Culture was implemented in the context of the retrospective exhibition of the artist Nitssa Hadjigeorgiou at the "Municipal Gallery of Larnaca" (21/01- 02/04/2022), which was co-organized by the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Larnaca.
Through a contemporary curatorial and graphic perspective, this publication presents in an analytical and holistic way the dense creative career of the artist who has established herself as one of the most important figures of Cypriot art. This retrospective highlights her pioneering activity, her experiments with the medium of painting, but also the development of an entirely personal artistic idiom in a constant search for truth, human existence and the role of art in contemporary social and cultural life.

Nitsa Hadjigeorgiou will give a response.
