[PIO] Announcement by the Department of Public Works for works to be carried out in Nicosia District

The Project Engineering Office of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that on Thursday, 25/7/2024, from 20:00 in the evening until 06:00 a.m. the next day, within the framework of the Construction of the Nicosia Perimeter Motorway, Phase A1, work will be carried out to remove and resurface the Nicosia-Lemesos Motorway in the direction of Limassol.

During the execution of the works, the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway, in the direction of Limassol, will be closed to traffic from the level of the exit to the Industrial Area of Latsia to the level of the exit from the Industrial Area of Idali to the Nicosia-Lemesos motorway.

Traffic from Nicosia to Limassol on this section will be conducted through the Old Nicosia-Lemesos Road.

The Department of Public Works apologises for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and invites the public to show the necessary understanding and patience and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
