The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, on the occasion of the end of the school year and the beginning of the summer holidays of the students, informs the public that after evaluating the conduct of summer schools in the Athalassa National Forest Park in previous years, it has been decided that requests for systematic summer school activities will no longer be approved, as they are not consistent with the policy that the Department of Forestry seeks to exercise in relation to business activities in National Forest Parks.
Therefore, summer school directors are urged to write to the Department of Forestry for any group and organized day visits to the National Forest Parks to obtain permission in advance.
