The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Agency (CAP) is pleased to announce that it has completed payments to the beneficiaries of Intervention A.A. 1.4 - Organic Crop Production of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of Cyprus for the programming period 2023-2027, for the year 2023.
The intervention concerns incentives in the sectors of organic crop production, through the payment of financial support to farmers who undertake, on a voluntary basis, to switch to or maintain organic farming practices and methods, as defined in Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
The amount of €5,220,753 was paid to the beneficiaries. The funding came 80% from European funds and 20% from state funds.
