Following what I have publicly promised on the need to strengthen participatory democracy, I announce today the launch of the innovative online platform EKFRACY, the first online platform for interactive and two-way communication between our young people and the executive.
Our goal is the more active participation of our young people, the new generation of our country, in shaping policies and actions that directly affect them, that touch their daily lives and determine their future.
Through the digital tool EKFRACY, for the first time our young people are offered the opportunity for a continuous dialogue with the executive, submitting specific suggestions and proposals on all issues that concern them, from education, housing, traffic, employment, the application of artificial intelligence in various aspects of the public sphere, the environment, social cohesion and anything else that is at the heart of their interests.
At the same time, through EFFRACY, our young people will have the opportunity to participate in live online discussions aimed at exchanging views, sharing their personal experiences, their own experiences, so that we can learn directly from them what concerns them, what worries them, but also what they propose to address any challenges.
At the same time - and I consider this to be particularly important - at a predetermined time to be announced, specific thematic questionnaires will be put to the members of the platform, in which the interested parties will be able to submit their views regarding actions and policies that we as a government would like to adopt.
But apart from what I have mentioned above, through EKFRACY both I personally and all members of the government, on a regular basis, will have live discussions. We will participate in live online discussions with the young people of our country.

Our Government, making use of all modern digital tools for two-way communication, is today undertaking an innovative initiative, the creation of yet another stable and permanent channel of communication with the young generation of our country, thus strengthening participatory democracy.
As a Government, we seek in practice, at every opportunity, to interact and dialogue with the young generation in order to shape a better tomorrow for our country.
Dear young people,
I invite you to register and actively participate in the platform EKFRACY. All of you, the young people of our country have the unique privilege to approach the data through a clearer perspective, unbiased and objective, with the main and only concern for the progress, development and modernization of our country.
So from today I expect you to share with us everything that concerns you, that worries you, how you dream of the Cyprus you want. Let's come together to shape it!
