The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources Mr. Ilias Myrrianthous, Member of the Committee of the European Parliament and of the European Parliament, are travelling to Val de Loire, France, to participate in the Conference of Chairmen of the Committees of the National Parliaments and the European Parliament on "European Policies for Citizens", which will take place on 20 and 21 March 2022, as part of the parliamentary dimension of the current six-month French Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The delegation will be accompanied by Ms Elena Stylianou, First Officer for European Affairs and Ms Stella Hatziandreou, Officer for International Relations.
In the context of the conference, the Common Agricultural Policy and improving food quality, the role that regional funds should play in the energy transition and sustainable tourism in the context of the Green Deal, among others, will be discussed.
