"Fifty years is too many" is stated unequivocally in the new short film produced by the Press and Information Office and released today as part of the actions to mark the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion and occupation.
The film, entitled "Cyprus Problem: 50 years is far too long", includes audiovisual footage of the tragic events of 1974 and the struggles of the Cypriot people for justice and freedom and aims to inform and raise awareness of the public in Cyprus and abroad about the Cyprus problem.
The production of the film "Cyprus Problem: 50 years is far too long" is part of the activities of the ad hoc committee set up to promote the 50th anniversary of the Turkish invasion and occupation, which are organised in Cyprus and abroad.
