Coronavirus infections of staff associated with the Winter Olympics in China have stabilised. In particular, the organizing committee of the event announced today only 11 new cases of COVID-19.
Two of them are athletes or team officials who tested positive in the test they underwent yesterday at the airport. The announcement on the games website says the remaining nine were found among those already in the "bubble" separating games staff from the public.
Ayumu Hirano, with an impressive effort on the final run, won the gold medal in the snowboard halfpipe event at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
