Lufthansa Airlines announced on its social media accounts a strike of German airport ground staff announced by the Verdi union.

The strike is scheduled for February 7 and 8. The airline said in a statement that no more than 20% of flights will be operated on those days. Passengers whose flights will be canceled, Lufthansa will inform by e-mail.

Tickets can be rebooked free of charge on the airline's website, via an app or at service centers. Tickets for German domestic flights can also be exchanged for rail vouchers on the airline's website.
