[Cyprus Times] What changes in Greece as of today: Liberation of music and working hours

New measures in restaurants and entertainment in Greece come into force from 06:00 today

New measures against covid disease in restaurants and entertainment come into force from 06:00 today until 7 February in Greece. The most important ones are the liberalisation of music and opening hours.

Catering establishments and entertainment centres are open:


  • exclusively for fully vaccinated persons or those who have been sick in the last three months
  • only for seated tables of up to 6 persons, subject to the conditions of crowd avoidance, table spacing and hygiene rules.
  • At the entrance of customers, it is compulsory to show:


  • It is compulsory for staff and customers to wear masks when entering, leaving and moving within the establishment.
  • In particular, staff must wear only a high respiratory protection mask (FFP2 or N95) or alternatively a double mask (surgical and fabric).
  • Musicians shall keep a distance of at least one (1) metre between them.
  • Singers and professional dancers shall remain on the dance floor during their performance and shall not mingle with the audience on table seating.
