Unbelievable scenes unfolded last Sunday morning at the Holy Church of the Most Holy Archangels of Vathylakkos in Servia, when, after being informed that the police were arriving at the scene, believers without masks and certificates ran away from the church.
According to residents' testimonies, the priest who learned that the police were arriving at the site informed the believers to leave. The same testimonies say that inside the church most of the believers were without masks, and some without vaccination certificates.
In the end only one lady was fined for not carrying a vaccination certificate, while the priest stated that he is vaccinated, but that the vaccines are, according to him, always in the experimental stage, and he cannot tell anyone to get vaccinated.
The priest admitted that inside the temple the worshippers enter without masks, and stressed that he cannot control the people himself.
According to local residents, believers belonging to the anti-vaccination movement gather in this temple.
