A tragic as well as unthinkable incident occurred in Georgia, USA, when a two-year-old boy shot and killed his father with a handgun that was hidden in their home.
He was rushed to hospital
According to international media, the unfortunate Dustin Walters, 25, was rushed to hospital on December 5. The man was spotted by authorities fighting to keep himself alive after a call from a neighbor who heard the gunshot and rushed to alert that something had happened.
Walters was taken to Memorial Medical Center, however, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
According to the Daily Mail, the perpetrator of the murder was his 2-year-old son, which police confirmed.
"The preliminary investigation determined that Walters was injured when his son, just 2 years old, found the gun, striking him," police noted.
Details of the investigation related to the incident were not released until Dec. 14, when investigators said a child was involved in the shooting.
