Two more people were arrested by the police in Istanbul for the murder of Turkish Cypriot businessman Khalil Faliyali in the occupied territories, bringing the number of those arrested in Turkey to 8.
The two new suspects, Jellal B. and Metin S., were arrested in an operation as part of an ongoing investigation in Istanbul.
Meanwhile, sources from the Turkish newspaper Sozju report that the gloves found in a vehicle that fled the scene with traces of gunpowder belonged to Mustafa Soilemez, the leader of the "Soilemez gang", who was arrested in Istanbul.The gloves were sent to Turkey and fingerprints and DNA are expected to provide answers.
