Two hunters in Paphos are fined 500 and 150 euros out of court
Two cases of illegal transport of assembled hunting firearms in two vehicles are being investigated by the Paphos Police against two hunters, aged 38 and 40, in the area of the community of Agios Nikolaos.
According to a spokesman for the Paphos Police Directorate, yesterday at 10:30 am in the village of Agios Nikolaos two vehicles were intercepted at the same time by members of the Game Service .
The 38-year-old driver was issued a 500 euro fine[/B] as he was carrying his assembled and loaded shotgun and the second driver aged 40 years was fined 150 euro for carrying his assembled shotgun[/B] inside the vehicle.
The two shotguns were taken to the Panagia police station until their owners pay their bills.
