An accident occurred shortly after 8 pm between Livadia and Tithorea, near the OSE station.
According to the first information one train was at a standstill since noon without power.
According to the report of LamiaReport, a locomotive was called from Oinoe station to pull it. But when an attempt was made to attach the locomotive to the train, perhaps due to mishandling, the locomotive crashed into the wagon resulting in injuries to the driver, a worker and some of the passengers.
It is still not known if there are any serious injuries, and according to reports the train has no power either and passengers have been trapped for hours in the middle of nowhere in the freezing cold.
A team of the 7th EMAK from Lamia is rushing to the spot to rescue the injured and then the remaining passengers.
