The videos uploaded by a man offering cash money to the homeless have caused a sensation on TikTok. Peter Bond frequently shares videos, which have gone viral. In them he gives piles of cash to homeless people and disappears while the recipients try to realize what has happened to them.
Bond has more than 375 thousand followers on TikTok and the videos he uploads usually have more than 1 million views.
The account he has created on TikTok is dedicated to bringing life back to people he meets on the street. "You can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone," he wrote in one of the captions on a video he uploaded.
In that video, Bond is seen giving a homeless man cash found inside a lunch box. The homeless man's reaction is beyond touching. "What's up, you hungry?", Bond asks the homeless man. "I got you something to eat," he tells him and hands him the lunchbox full of bills.
Many TikTok users praise Bond for his actions. "Incredibly awesome and good man, Merry Christmas," one wrote in one of the videos uploaded over the holidays. "May God bless you, bless you, protect you, make you happy and make your heart happy. You are a remarkable man," wrote another."
But there are those who question TikToker's intentions, believing that these videos serve other purposes, as they see homeless people, well-dressed and wearing Jordan shoes. "Homeless people dressed well. Hmm something suspicious about that," someone commented.
