[Cyprus Times] Thousands of euros fined to bank, bakery and supermarket for failure to check Safepass

Three establishments and 12 citizens were reported for violation of COVID measures 1.856 o checks "Bells" thousands of euros in a bank, bakery and supermarket for not checking Safepass

Police conducted 1.856 checks in the last 24 hours which resulted in complaints against 3 premises managers and 12 citizens for violation of anti-covid measures.

A spokesman for the police press office told CNA that in Nicosia 501 checks were carried out without any complaints and in Limassol 172 checks were carried out during which complaints were lodged against 2 managers of establishments and 6 citizens.

In Larnaca one citizen was complained against in 433 checks and in Famagusta 335 checks resulted in complaints against three citizens. In Paphos 85 checks were carried out and two citizens were complained against and in Morphou in 207 checks a complaint was lodged against a manager of an establishment.

This is a bank against which a fine of 1.500 euro for not checking for a safepass.

In Limassol a supermarket was fined 1,500 euro for not checking for a safepass.

In Limassol a supermarket was fined 1,500 euro for not checking for a safepass. Also a bakery was fined the same amount again for not checking safepass.

The traffic police carried out 123 checks without a complaint.

The majority of citizens were reported for not wearing a protective mask.
