Illegal possession of property - Driving under the influence of drugs Two persons were arrested in Paphos
Two persons,[/B] aged 32 and 37, were arrested, were arrested last night by the police to facilitate investigations into an ongoing case of illegal possession of property and possession of burglary tools during the night.
At around 10pm yesterday, members of the Paphos Traffic Police stopped the car in which the 32-year-old and the 37-year-old were travelling on a road in Paphos.
During a search of the car, burglary tools were found,[/B] as well as various power tools for which the two occupants of the vehicle did not give satisfactory explanations as to how they came to be in their possession. As a result, a 32-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested for self-inflicted offences and taken into custody to facilitate questioning.
The 32-year-old driver of the vehicle was also subjected to a drug test, which tested positive.
Paphos Central Police Station and Paphos Traffic Police are investigating the case.
