The death of T/C climber Birkan Uzun[/B] is attributed to an accident, according to a report on the cause of his death handed over by US Ambassador Judith Garber to TC leader Ersin Tatar.
As reported in the occupied territories, Mr Tatar met with Ms Garber today to be briefed on the causes of Birkan Uyzoun's death.

Tatar thanked Ms. Garber for the quick response from the US authorities on the whole matter. "We are saddened by the loss of someone who left his mark on our 'country and people'," Tatar added.
It may be recalled that Birkan Uzun, who was working in the US, had recently climbed Mount Vinson in Antarctica, but had subsequently lost his life in an accident while skiing in Oregon.
